About the Role:
Hunter AHP is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Locum Pharmacist to join an NHS hospital in Essex. This position is open to both community pharmacists and newly qualified pharmacists, providing an excellent chance to expand your skills in a hospital setting. You will primarily be working in the dispensary, ensuring the safe and effective supply of medications to patients in a busy NHS environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispensing prescriptions and ensuring accuracy in medication supply.
• Providing medication advice and information to patients and healthcare professionals.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant NHS guidelines and policies.
• Assisting with stock management and ensuring availability of medications.
• Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to support patient care.

Essential Requirements:

• GPhC Registration (or in process of registration).
• Previous pharmacy experience (community pharmacy experience is welcome).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Newly qualified pharmacists are encouraged to apply.
