Hunter Gatherer AHP have a very exciting NHS Hospital based opportunity for a Band 3 Pharmacy Assistant based in a great location around Coventry, West Midlands, to join the service's outpatients dispensary team from mid-November 2023 onwards, for a period of 3-6 months!
This is a medium sized NHS run hospital service to be working for, offering the chance for someone with minimal pharmacy experience to be upskilled into a Band 3 role and gain hospital experience! The role is either full time or part time, on an ongoing basis.
The service are able to bring in a Pharmacy Assistant without prior hospital experience for this role, however an NVQ2 or equivalent pharmacy type qualification would be ideal, if you do not have prior NHS experience.  
The service require a Pharmacy Assistant to work inside the outpatient dispensary service (non patient facing) - the day to day duties will mainly consistent of dispensing medication and prescriptions. There will be numerous other Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians as well as Support Workers in the outpatients to assist where needed. There could also be some stock control and dossete box work too. Full training on these duties will be provided to pharmacy professionals who have not worked in a hospital dispensary service before! 
The working hours are 9am - 5pm (30 mins lunch), Monday - Friday full time (part time MAY be considered for the right applicant). 
The service need a locum Pharmacy Assistant to join them ASAP (mid-November 2023) for a period of 3-6 months or more! Please note, only MINIMAL pharmacy experience is required, so those with purely community pharmacy experience will be considered, providing you have one of the relevant pharmacy qualifications.

– £12.00 - £15.50 per hour depending on experience
– Only minimal pharmacy experience required to be eligible! Hospital training provided!
– Start date: mid-November 2023
- 3-6 months contract - may extend - part time or full time suitable!
