Band 7/8a Clinical Pharmacist - Dundee - Surgical/Medical Wards

Hunter Gatherer AHP have a niche opportunity based with a small NHS hospital in Dundee. The Director of Pharmacy is recruiting for a ward-experienced pharmacist to join the medical division on a full-time locum basis. The post holder will work clinically to lead pharmacy services in accordance with healthcare guidelines laid out specifically by this NHS trust. The post holder will be required to uphold trust standards and help provide an excellent level of pharmaceutical care when visiting wards and discussing medicines with individual patients. 

Working hours are 9am - 5:30pm w/ a 60 minute break – 7.5 working hours per day, 37.5 working hours per week. For highly experienced candidates, flexible days are acceptable depending on how the CV lands with the department – this is a 4-6 month contract initially with strong likelihood to extend beyond that. PLEASE NOTE: Prior NHS clinical pharmacist experience is required to apply for this position - an Independent Prescriber (IP) Qualification is desirable but not essential.

–       £32-46 per hour paid via Accredited Umbrella Company

–       Ongoing contract with 2 week notice period
