Band 7/8a Women's & Children's Pharmacist - Paediatric Wards

Hunter AHP Resourcing have a niche locum opportunity based with a large NHS hospital in Milton Keynes. The Deputy Chief Pharmacist is recruiting for a ward-experienced pharmacist to join the paediatrics team on a full-time basis. The post holder will work clinically to lead pharmacy services to the Paediatric Unit in accordance with healthcare guidelines laid out by the trust and NHS England. 

Working hours are 9am - 5:30pm w/ a 60 minute break – 7.5 working hours per day, 37.5 working hours per week. For the right candidate, flexible days are acceptable depending on how the CV lands with the department – this is a 6-month contract initially with possibility to extend beyond that. 

PLEASE NOTE: Prior NHS wards experience is required to apply for this position, paedatric experience is strongly preferred but not essential!

–       Band 7/8a Clinical Pharmacist

–       £30-36 per hour paid directly from the trust

–       Ongoing contract with 2 week notice period

–       Indemnity insurance covered
