Clinical Trials Pharmacy Technician – Barnsley

Hunter Gatherer AHP have a new, exciting locum opportunity for a Clinical Trials Pharmacy Technician to join an esteemed NHS pharmacy department in Barnsley. The Chief Clinical Trials Pharmacist is looking for a technician with prior trials experience to join the team on a full-time basis. This is a minimum 6-month contract, with likelihood to extend beyond that as this is filling a long-standing gap within the department.

The main duties of the role will involve the set-up & maintenance of clinical trials within the department as per NHS England guidleines. The post holder will be expected to dispense medicines used in clinical trials and work along the wider research team, including doctors & nurses. Directly responsible to the lead clinical trials pharmacy technician, the objective within this post is to ensure that the dispensary trials service runs as efficiently as possible. 

PLEASE NOTE: You MUST be GPhC registered to apply for this position & successful applicants will have prior clinical trials experience within the NHS.

–       Locum Research (CT) Pharmacy Technician

–       £17-22 per hour depending on experience

–       Ongoing contract with 2 week notice period

–       Flexible leave + indemnity insurance covered
