Hospital Pharmacy Assistant - Central Birmingham - NVQ Level 2 qualification necessary!

Our agency desk have a brilliant opportunity based with a NHS hospital in the central Birmingham area. We are recruiting for a pharmacy assistant for the inpatient team and the post holder will be expected to help provide top-tier pharmacy services by helping ensure there are enough medicines in relevant clinical areas. Secondary NHS duties include ordering, preparing & dispensing medicines. 

Working hours are 8:30am - 4:30pm w/ a 30 minute break – 7.5 working hours per day, 37.5 hours per week. For the right candidate, flexible days are acceptable depending on how the CV lands with the department – this is a 4-6 month contract which is likely to extend beyond that. 

PLEASE NOTE: NVQ Level 2 qualification in pharmacy services is essential!

–       Locum NHS Pharmacy Dispenser

–       £13-14 per hour

–       Ongoing contract with 2 week notice period

–       Flexible leave + indemnity insurance covered
