  • Schedule: Full time (Monday - Friday), part-time will also be considered.

  • End Date: 6 months contract, with the opporuntiyt to extend. 
  • Rate of pay: £14 - £22 per hour.

A Day in the life of a MMT Pharmacy Technician

As Locum MMT Pharmacy Technician you will play a crucial role in supplying medication to patients, in preparation for their discharge.

  • Duties will include checking patients' own medicines and ordering medication 
  • Medicines reconciliation and drug chat screening
  • Dispensing on ward for discharge and supporting allocated wards with medicine management
  • Offering advice to patients on the wards
  • Helping the ATOs and Pharm Techs with checking when needed

Requirements and qualifications required for this role:

  • Current and valid registration with the GPHC as a Pharmacy Technian 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Working hours and contract duration:

This position is Monday to Friday from 9am to 5:15pm with 45mins for lunch. The contract is initially for 6 months (Januarr 2024 – June 2024), with the oportunity to extend.
