Band 5/6 Pharmacy Technician (Preferably ACT) – Western Isles – Scotland

Hunter AHP are currently seeking a GPHC registered Pharmacy Technician with experience working in an NHS Hospital to join a large NHS Hospital in Stornoway, Scotland, working 5 days per week, for 3-6 months minimum. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to relocate to a scenic location within the Western Isles, whilst developing your skills as a Pharmacy Technician

Accommodation - £25 per night for 14 nights, then £18 per night after this – 5-minute walk from the hospital.

Travel – the hospital will pay for a return flight to the island if the contract is 2 months minimum.

-Monday – Friday, 5 days per week, 9am – 5pm with 30-minute lunch, however part time will be considered! 

-Hospital experience is required, ACT is desirable.

-Day to day dispensary-based duties/ACT duties depending on experience. Day to Day working on the ward technician service to provided to wards, ensuring all work complies with local procedures ensuring the timely delivery of pharmaceuticals to the wards for patient treatment and/or discharge from hospital.

-5 days per week, on site.  

-6 months minimum

-The service is based in Stornoway, Scotland.

- £25-42 - per hour (depending on experience)  

- NHS Hospital Service 

- Start date: February/March 2024
