• Job Title: Pharmacist Band 8a
• Location: Plymouth
• Duration: 6 months
• Schedule: Full-time (Monday - Friday), part-time may also be considered.
• Start Date: February 2024
• End Date: 6 months contract initially.
• Rate of pay: £30 - £40 per hour.

A Day in the Life of a Pharmacist

As a Band 8a Locum Safety and Governance Pharmacist, you will be involved with the developent and research of drug safety and medicines governance. 

• Deliver, manage and developing medication safety
• Alerting for missing drugs within the hosptial
• Looking into drug effects and cause
• Reviwing the systems and error reports. 
• Invetsigating how the process could potentially be changed/improved. 

Requirements and qualifications required for this role:

• Current and valid registration with the GPHC as a Pharamcist 
• Some kind of previous community pharmacy experience. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Working hours and contract duration:

This position is full-time (Monday – Friday), with the option of part-time if needed.
